PRESIDENT'S VISION TOUR COMMITTEE
We are seeking volunteer parents to become members of our PVT committee. This committee will meet once a month at the dojang and discuss ways to spread the news about our Soo Bahk Do™ art. Some of the action will be taking will be based on your suggestions, ideas and input.
Once the committee is established, one of the first "actions" will be begin is to form a school "Demonstration Team". The purpose of the "demo team" is to organize local demonstrations and presentations that will display the philosophy and action of our art.
The team will be students from the dojang who are willing to give of themselves in order to increase the awareness of our art. The Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang has tasked us with increasing our membership by 10%, and we can do it. Any student who wants to participate on the "Demo Team" will have to meet specific requirements if they are currently attending school, for example, grade school, high school, etc. Students will be asked to maintain good grades at school, and provide proof to Sa Bom Nim Baran that they are succeeding in their school studies.
The other criteria will be practice.
Once you volunteer to be on the "Demo Team" you will be required to attend the practices in order to stay on the team. Scheduled practices will be worked out and posted on this blog and at the school.
So, we have lots of projects that we can make a reality with the help of our parents and students. Are you up to the challenge? If you are interested in participating in the PVT committee and be part of the "demo team", see Lindemann, Sa Bom Nim or Ruqus Sa Bom Nim to sign up. We appreciated your call to action!
